Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 24, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how YieldSheet LLC (“GetYieldSheet,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and shares information in connection with the GetYieldSheet website, applications, and related services (collectively, the “Service”). It should be read together with our Terms and Conditions.
The Service is a business tool intended for restaurants, markets, food-service businesses, and similar commercial users. By using the Service, you agree to the practices described in this Policy.
1. Information We Collect
1.1 Information you provide.
- Account information — such as your name, email address, business name, and account credentials when you register.
- Customer Content — the invoices, product and pricing data, cost figures, recipes, inventory records, and other business data you upload, enter, or forward to the Service.
- Communications — information you provide when you contact us for support or otherwise correspond with us.
1.2 Information collected through the email-forwarding feature. The Service lets you forward supplier invoices by email into your in-app inbox. When you use this feature, we receive and process the contents of those emails and their attachments (for example, invoice documents and the data within them) so we can extract and organize that information within your account.
1.3 Information collected automatically. When you use the Service, we and our providers may automatically collect usage and device information, such as log data, IP address, browser type, pages or features accessed, and timestamps. We may use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences, and understand how the Service is used.
2. How We Use Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide, operate, and maintain the Service, including capturing invoices and calculating unit costs, yields, and margins;
- Extract and organize data from invoices you upload or forward;
- Create and manage your account and authenticate access;
- Respond to your requests and provide customer support;
- Monitor, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the Service;
- Generate aggregated or de-identified data (which does not identify you or any individual) for analytics, benchmarking, and product improvement; and
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms and Conditions.
We do not sell your personal information.
3. Automated Processing of Invoice Data
The Service uses automated invoice-scanning and data-extraction technology to read and structure the data in the documents you provide. This processing is performed to deliver the Service’s core features. Automated extraction may be inaccurate or incomplete, and you remain responsible for reviewing and verifying the resulting data, as described in our Terms and Conditions.
4. How We Share Information
We share information only as described below:
- Service providers and subprocessors. We use third-party providers to host and operate the Service — including cloud hosting and database infrastructure, and email-processing services used to receive forwarded invoices. These providers may process your information on our behalf and are permitted to use it only to provide services to us.
- Legal and safety. We may disclose information if required by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request, or where we believe disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, users, or the public.
- Business transfers. If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to this Policy.
- With your direction. We may share information when you ask us to or otherwise direct us to do so.
5. Data Retention
We retain your account information and Customer Content for as long as your account is active. After termination of your account, we may permanently delete your Customer Content within thirty (30) days, consistent with our Terms and Conditions. You are responsible for exporting any data you wish to keep before then. We may retain certain information longer where required to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, or enforce our agreements.
6. Data Security
We take reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information from unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or alteration. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Your Choices and Rights
- Access and correction. You can review and update your account information within the Service or by contacting us.
- Deletion. You may request deletion of your account and associated Customer Content by contacting us.
- Communications. You may opt out of non-essential or marketing emails by following the unsubscribe instructions in those messages; we may still send you transactional or service-related messages.
Depending on where you or your business are located, you may have additional rights under applicable privacy laws (for example, certain U.S. state privacy laws). To exercise any available rights, contact us at the address below. We will respond as required by applicable law.
8. International Users
The Service is operated in the United States, and information we collect is processed and stored in the United States and in the locations where our service providers operate. If you access the Service from outside the United States, you understand that your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States.
9. Children’s Privacy
The Service is intended for business use and is not directed to individuals under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us so we can take appropriate action.
10. Third-Party Services
The Service may link to or integrate with third-party services (for example, the email provider you use to forward invoices). Their handling of your information is governed by their own privacy policies, and we are not responsible for their practices.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will post the updated Policy with a new “Last updated” date and, where appropriate, notify you by other reasonable means. Your continued use of the Service after the changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
